The question we are most often asked is "How much should I Bid for an Item?

Our answer is "whatever you’re willing to pay." It's not as Flippant as it may sound. At our auction you are bidding against real people in a live auction, not a fake bidder or an established price. The Floor (the people attending the auction) starts the bidding, not your absentee bid. Because your are bidding against real people, they make sure that items aren't bid up beyond the value of an item. Most Internet bidders are far too low. By bidding a fair amount and because we have a absentee bidder acting in your behalf most of our absentee bidders that do win, get the item for less then their maximum bid. Also if you bid what you are willing to pay, you can't overpay. Just a thought from Bill.
